The Menlo Park Legends fell 10-5 to the visiting Bercovich Gold at Palo Alto High School on Friday.
Dylan Cook went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Logan Trowbridge was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for the Legends, who also got a 2-for-4 day at the plate from Brandon Coborn. Coborn and James Hatano each doubled. Dakota Hernandez drove in Menlo Park’s other run.
A day earlier Menlo Park beat the Neptune Beach 14-7. Tim Willittes got the win. The Legends were led by Hernandez (3-for-4, RBI), Ryan Drobny (3-for-4, two doubles), Hatano (2-for-2, double) and Jordan Winawer (2-for-5, triple, RBI). Steven Miller homered and drove in five runs.
Menlo Park beat California Glory 8-0 on Saturday and beat Bercovich 6-2 on Sunday.
The Legends host Neptune Beach at 5 p.m. today at Palo Alto High.
